South Beach Miami’s Mondrian hotel played host to an exquisite Saturday morning brunch, celebrating the launch of the new rosé wine project, Cote Des Roses, by the esteemed brand Gérard Bertrand. Against the backdrop of the iconic Miami skyline and the shimmering intracoastal waters, guests gathered at the Baia Beach Club Restaurant for a brunch experience like no other.
With the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One in full swing, the Mondrian proved to be the perfect setting for this celebratory event. But it was the meticulous attention to detail by Ines Naftali Events Designthat truly elevated the ambiance, adorning the tables with an abundance of flowers and perfectly paired table settings, creating an atmosphere of unparalleled elegance and sophistication.
At the heart of the project was the collaboration between Cote Des Roses and Australian artist Morgan Jamieson, the launch of this specially designed bottle holds a special place in the hearts of all involved and is only being sold to the United States and Caribbean as a much needed upgrade from the brand’s previous bottle label – a simple rectangle while still keeping the beautiful hidden glass rose bottom. Spearheaded by creative director Emma Bertrand, this unique rosé is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah, meticulously crafted to preserve its freshness and natural acidity. With no malolactic fermentation conducted and the wine bottled promptly, each sip is a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship of its creators.
But it’s not just the wine that captivates the senses; it’s the entire experience. From the flowery bottle adorned with summer colors and scents to the sumptuous brunch spread, every detail has been carefully curated to delight the senses and transport guests to a world of indulgence and luxury.
As guests sipped on glasses of Cote Des Roses rosé and indulged in delectable brunch offerings, the air was filled with laughter and conversation, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie that paired just right with the woody oak like structure of the wine but with the smooth buttery lightness that washed it all down so well.
As the brunch drew to a close and guests bid farewell to the Mondrian, they carried with them memories of an unforgettable morning spent in the company of good friends, exquisite wine, and the undeniable allure of Miami’s culinary scene. And with each sip of Cote Des Roses rosé, they would be transported back to that moment, a reminder of the magic that can be found in the simplest of pleasures.
